H.J.Harper came to our school. She told us all about her books and how we have to practice if we want to be good writers.
The best thing about her visit was…..she showed us one of her secret codes! Watch out for our secret notes!
We're getting these books for our library and some kids are buying their own copies....but be careful. H.J.Harper's books are filled with zombies, werewolves, mad scientists, secret codes, ancient beings, ghosts and robots, as well as the odd explosion or two.
The author of Artemis Fowl was in Melbourne last week and 8 very lucky students went to meet him. Eoin talked about how you can become an author…read, read read and write, write, write. It’s easy really, just practice! He uses the fun and games of his brothers and his children for the events and characters in many of his stories.
