You are invited to extend your reading this year by joining the Global Reading Challenge.
Participate by reading books across all the continents of the world.
Books can include ebooks or audio books, graphic novel, fiction or nonfiction,
picture book or chapter book, any genre.
Read 1 book set in each of these continents
• North America
• South America (includingCentral America)
The Seventh Continent: either Antarctica or your own ‘seventh’ setting, e.g. the sea, outer space, a supernatural world, or the future)

Of course, there will be a prize (…..but it won’t be a holiday around the world)
The State Library is hosting the Children’s BOOK Festival again this year. There will be storytelling, authors speaking, and lots of fun things to do. It’s on Sunday, March 22. Some events must be booked, even though everything is FREE!
